Associate Project Manager
North America – Remote Permanent Full-Time
Based on our continued growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Project Manager (PM) at Gogh Solutions. While this position is 100% remote, we are looking to expand our team in North America.
As a member of Gogh Solutions, the Associate PM is a key player in leading implementation projects, providing consulting and maintaining and growing client relationships. In addition, you will also be expected to provide leadership in the areas of project monitoring, scoping, delivery, user training and budget management. This candidate will actively participate in critical initiatives impacting change and driving project success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the project lifecycle from initiation to closure while adhering to Gogh Solutions’ Project Management Office (PMO) methodology
- Manage our smaller projects and/or programs while adhering to the Project Management Office and Project Management Institute methodology
- Lead client team members and partner with internal Gogh Solutions employees as required
- Report projects progress to the PMO and Leadership teams on a weekly and as needed basis
- Proactively resolve and escalate issues as they arise
- Monitor and manage projects’ hour allocations, scope and schedule to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on budget and with quality per Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables
- Manage client weekly status meetings and project communications
- Manage scope, issues and mitigate risk to ensure successful execution
- Facilitate change management, execute change control and impact practices for change requests
- Manage budgets to meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, contributing to estimates, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
- Assist in the review and updating of SOW and new opportunity proposals
- Manage and build working relationships with multiple stakeholders, clients and third-party vendors
- Understanding the client’s challenges, goals and areas of future growth
- Be responsible to improve and enforce Gogh Solutions’ PMO methodology
- Deploy specific PMO processes, project management tools and recommend improvements
- Contribute to operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations
- Identify trends, perform reviews, determine improvements and solutions, and implement action plans
- Deliver training internally on Project Management and PMO processes
- Identify training needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience working with implementations preferably Workforce Management, Customer Relationship Management
- Enterprise Resource Planning, Asset Management or integrated IT solution experience
Requirements and Skills:
- Project management understanding of scope, resource, quality, risk and issue management
- Proficiency in using Project Management tools
- Thorough understanding of the project management software implementation lifecycle
- Experience in a consulting role
- Excellent client and/or account management skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization and hands-on experience leading meetings
- Ability to work with teams and support complex projects
- Organizational skills and ability to manage projects concurrently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Support the project team to a successful project completion
- Ability to maintain client and vendor relationships
- Problem solving and negotiation skills when handling client escalations
- Ability to be quality-focused
- Work through obstacles to meet commitments
- Encourage teamwork and take steps to create an environment for effective collaboration
- Support the PMO in achieving effective project outcomes
