 Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver IFS Service Management Module with leading practices throughout all phases of a customer’s digital transformation.
  • Apply business process and system expertise to bring forth leading practices in the areas of Service, Logistics, Inventory Management, Contracts, Financial Management and Optimization.
  • Hands-on formulation of business and functional requirements to set the direction for corresponding and complimentary solution delivery aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee and participate in the configuration of IFS Applications to bring client requirements to life and lead testing as well as training programs during customer engagements.
  • Support robust change management programs to increase adoption for our clients with IFS Solutions.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management/Computer Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related field or relevant experience in the field
  • IFS Service experience or FSM Practitioner Certification preferred
  • Certification or Experience with additional IFS Application modules a plus (Supply Chain, CRM, Call Center, Planning and Scheduling Optimization)
  • Business expertise in Service Management processes as well as having strong knowledge of other business processes such as Warranty to Service, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay
  • Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required

Role overview

Senior functional Consultants at Gogh solutions are at the forefront of IFS product implementations working directly with Customers and Solution Architects on cutting-edge industry solutions in the Field Service Management industry.

On a day-to-day basis, the candidate will be working closely with the Solution Architect (SA) and other Consultants in the creation of the Solution Design Document (SDD) by owning specific sections to completion. They will also be collaborating with the Technical Consultant(s) to align with the IFS software to the Solution Design Document(s) (SDD)

Core responsibilities of this position are to align the IFS Application with the Customer’s business processes, run functional workshops to uncover and document requirements document functional solutions, and configure the IFS applications to ensure they meet specific business needs. The position might require the candidate to lead functional consultants and assist them to achieve their performance goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the competence to advise and guide the Customer, listen, and dare to challenge based on the understanding of the Customer’s real needs and offer suggestions of how to address them using best practice and industry standards.

The candidate will have experience in all the modules of the IFS applications with implementation experience and will be required to use baseline process to achieve the expected functional outcome.

On a typical day a Senior Functional Consultant would:

  • Work closely with Clients, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to understand the business needs and operational processes of the client organization and translate them into functional solutions using the capabilities in IFS.
  • Run workshops for Clients focusing on mapping and documenting the business processes, use cases, and requirements that are in-scope to be configured within the IFS application and ensure that the software meets the specific business needs.
  • Assist in the completion of the Business Requirement Document and Solution Design Document outlining what requirements and solution will be delivered within the project’s timeline and budget.
  • Structure and execute demos of the IFS application for clients and internal team members.
  • Provide training, education, coaching, and assistance to team members as needed.
  • Maintain a strong and professional relationship with the Client.
  • Be responsible for configurating the IFS application to the functional requirements.
  • Keep up to date with latest IFS releases and developments through IFS Learning Academy training and hands-on with the latest releases.
  • Participate in IFS Upgrades, both minor and major as well as IFS releases patches following/updating documented procedures.
  • Support pre-sales activities through functional knowledge and inputs.
  • Provide guidance on functional solutions / workarounds/ make credible functional recommendations and estimates based on client needs/ project requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management/Computer Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Mathematics or related field.

 Must have proficiencies:

  • Strong industry knowledge within the Field Service Management space.
  • Proven experience of 4-6 years as a Functional Consultant working with IFS FSM and/or IFS Cloud.
  • Experience in IFS App Gen or Aurena or IFS cloud
  • Strong expertise in IFS Cloud modules, configurations, and integrations.
  • Should have practical experience of having gone through atleast 2 IFS implementations

As a Senior Project Manager at Gogh Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the successful implementation of software projects for Field Service Customers. You will serve as a trusted consultant to our customers, driving the planning and execution of Statement of Works (SOWs) while maintaining and strengthening client relationships. Your expertise in project management, consulting, and client engagement will contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

On a typical day a Senior Project Manager would: 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Assist in the creation of SOWs outlining the full project implementation blueprint.

  • IT project experience as a consultant implementing software.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams involved in project delivery, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure successful project outcomes by overseeing user training and adoption of delivered solutions.
  • Provide input and recommendations in project scoping, feasibility assessments, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and optimizing resource utilization to achieve financial targets.
  • Foster and strengthen client relationships through regular communication, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Actively participate in critical initiatives impacting change within the organization, driving project success, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience working with implementations preferably Workforce Management, Customer Relationship Management

Recommended experience and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, particularly working closely with high-touch IT customers undergoing transformation projects within enterprise companies.
  • IT project experience as a consultant implementing software.
  • Ability and fearlessness to work in an environment where the implementation processes and methodologies are flexible and adapted to the Customer and situation.
  • Strong ability to align with the customer’s vision and adjust project timelines accordingly, while maintaining core milestone and deliverable due dates.
  • Experience collaborating with Customer’s low to mid-level project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Proficiency in both waterfall and agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt and utilize the most appropriate approach for each project.
  • Self-sufficiency, autonomy, and proactive initiative to drive project success toward committed objectives.
  • Demonstrating patience and fostering a positive attitude while providing support to the technical team during the process implementation.
  • Proficiency and adaptability in working within a dynamic environment characterized by cutting-edge technology, requiring the simultaneous acquisition of IT knowledge alongside consultants.
  • Ability to establish effective ways of working between our company (Gogh) and the customer, enhancing clarity and alignment with the Statement of Work (SOW) intent.
  • Creative and critical thinking skills, capable of exploring innovative solutions and suggesting alternate approaches when necessary.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management principles, including scope management, resource allocation, quality assurance, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Exceptional client and account management abilities, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and support complex projects, ensuring smooth coordination and successful outcomes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.

Assets:

  • Experience as Team Lead or Functional Lead
  • Scrum Certification
  • Experience writing Statements of Work and/or business proposals
