We are seeking a talented IFS Sales Solution Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional value to our clients. 

Role Overview

As a Sales Solution Engineer at Gogh Solutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team throughout the Sales Pipeline by nurturing and exploring leads and opportunities, as well as providing expertise and demonstrating the value of the IFS software solutions to prospective clients. You will work closely with Sales Representatives, Product Owners/Managers, and Customers to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and ensure a successful sales process. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Pre-Sales Support: 

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and provide technical guidance. 
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and value of our software solutions. 
  • Develop and deliver customized solutions and presentations based on customer needs and industry best practices. 

Technical Expertise: 

  • Act as a subject matter expert on the IFS software products, including their technical capabilities, architecture, and integration points. 
  • Provide detailed responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information), including technical documentation and solution designs. 
  • Address technical questions and concerns from prospects, ensuring a clear understanding of how our solutions address their challenges. 

Client Engagement: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients. 
  • Conduct needs assessments and gather feedback to tailor solutions to specific client requirements. 
  • Support proof-of-concept (POC) and trial engagements to demonstrate the effectiveness of our solutions. 

Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with the professional service and IFS product management teams to stay informed about new features, product updates, and industry trends. 
  • Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure a smooth transition from presales to post-sales support. 
  • Provide insights and feedback from prospects to help shape product development and marketing strategies. 

Sales Enablement: 

  • Create and maintain presales materials, including presentations, product demos, and technical collateral. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position our products. 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in presales, technical sales, or related role within the software industry.  
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development, architecture, and integration. Familiarity with IFS Cloud Service is a strong plus to the role. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Presentation Skills: Proven ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to diverse audiences. 
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address customer needs and propose effective solutions. 
  • Team Player: Collaborative and adaptable, with a strong ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Gogh solutions is looking to hire a dynamic and dedicated professional with rich experience in IFS applications. The Senior technical consultant will be at the forefront of IFS implementations as part of a Global team of professionals.

Role overview

The Senior technical consultant is responsible for configuring/ customizing/ integrating IFS applications to meet unique business requirements. They translate client needs into technical solutions using their expertise and experience in the IFS application. The Senior Technical consultant plays a crucial role in ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction by delivering high quality documentation, configuration, and development on time and within the confines of the functional specifications.

The Senior technical consultant needs to be experienced with all the modules of the IFS applications that they can match the baseline process to the expected technical outcome.

The Senior Technical consultant should have worked on an implementation or an upgrade project using the latest IFS Cloud.

On a typical day the Senior Technical Consultant’s would:

  • Work closely with Clients, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to understand needs defined by the Architects and translate them into technical solutions using the capabilities in IFS.
  • Receive functional specifications from the Business analysts (BA) / Solution Architect’s (SA) and translate to technical solutions.
  • Own and document the technical solution in technical design document(s).
  • Conduct and/or participate in workshops based on discussions
  • Provide training to customers and/or customer’s IT team.
  • Provide demo or walkthrough to client of the implemented functionality with SA’s assistance.
  • Provide training, education, coaching, and assistance to team members as needed.
  • Participate and/or conduct configuration planning, design, and build phase meetings both internally and with the Customer.
  • Be responsible for configurating the IFS application to the functional and technical requirements.
  • Keep up to date with latest IFS releases and developments through IFS Learning Academy training and hands-on with the latest releases.
  • Complete IFS Upgrades, both minor and major as well as IFS releases patches following/updating documented procedures.
  • Support pre-sales activities through technical support.
  • Provide guidance on technical solutions / workarounds/ make credible technical recommendations and estimates based on client needs/ project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Management/Computer Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Mathematics or related field.

Must-have technical proficiencies:

  • IFS cloud; nice to have IFS FSM.
  • Minimum experience of 3- 4 years in IFS implementation with good database knowledge.
