IFS Consultant
North America or India – Permanent Full-Time

The Consultant will bridge the gap between the Customer’s business requirements and the application. Engaged by the Customer or Partner as a subject matter expert (SME) in a specific area and offers their expertise to colleagues, Partners and the Customer.

The Consultant enjoys the challenge of creating and communicating well thought-through practical solutions that form the basis for successful implementations, and ultimately lead to highly referenceable Customers and make the Customer more efficient and successful.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality IFS Application consultancy during implementations, upgrades and ongoing support to our customers in the Region.
  • Understand and document complex Service Management process (e.g. logistics, field service, mobile engineers, etc.).
  • Set up and configure IFS Applications to meet customer requirements / expectations.
  • Provide training and mentoring to customer team members and other IFS consultants.
  • Remain knowledgeable and familiar on supported versions of the software.
  • Work closely with other IFS consultants to ensure complete solutions are provided to customers.
  • Maintain a degree of knowledge of methods and requirements for interfacing with external applications.
  • Document clear specifications for delivery by others (e.g., Partners, offshore, Customer, etc.).
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement of existing IFS processes and methodology
  • Self manage smaller activities, particularly where no IFS Project Manager has been assigned.
  • Take an active part in building a strong consulting team in the region.
  • Assist with pre-sales opportunities when required.
  • Deliver a high degree of customer service (internally and externally).
  • Mentors junior project and team members.

 Requirements and Skills:

  • Essential – Strong knowledge and experience in Service Management.
  • Essential – 5-10 years’ experience in implementation of software systems.
  • Good understanding of IT systems and applications.
  • Experience of working as part of a team is essential.
  • Proven ability to be motivated and self-driven when working alone.
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, problem-solving, attention to detail, and data analysis skills.
  • Must have good presentation, Organisational, and documentation skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • The ability to work to deadlines, understanding the value and importance of milestone achievement.
  • Deep knowledge with workshop facilitation, presentation, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Experienced with working on projects and an ability to manage sub-projects.
  • Ability to learn quickly, communicate ideas effectively, lead team efforts, and utilise flexibility and creativity to present a variety of solutions.
  • Must be able to analyse and/or design business processes.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75%, or more if required, with potential for extended stints of continuous travel.  Majority of travel would be limited to the region but could extend outside the region from time to time.

The IFS Solution Architect will be a valued leader in one of our most dynamic markets. Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver IFS Service Management Module with leading practices throughout all phases of a Customer’s digital transformation.
  • Apply business process and system expertise to bring forth leading practices in the areas of Service, Logistics and Inventory Management, Contracts, Financial Management, and Optimization.
  • Hands-on formulation of business and functional requirements to set the direction for corresponding and complimentary solution delivery aligned to business goals
  • Oversee and participate in the configuration of IFS Applications to bring client requirements to life and lead testing and training programs during Customer engagements.
  • Support robust change management programs to increase adoption for our clients with the IFS Solutions.
  • Partner with project managers to identify project risk and issues. Work together to collaboratively develop and articulate mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of implementation methodologies, trainings and toolkits through internal initiatives
  • Support sales cycles as needed as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Lead the continuous development of the market offering.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to consultants and client team members.
  • Provide performance counseling and career development to consultants.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of IFS implementation training for team members.
  • Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community

  • Contribute to the creation of target state architectures and roadmaps, and architecture principles that ensure the qualities of security and networking are maintained in program and project solutions.
  • Perform project and program solution architecture assessments to ensure the continued presence, appropriateness and completeness of solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture frameworks including technology architecture strategy, ‘guiding principles and governing standards.
  • Participate in RFP/RFI preparation, bid evaluation and the vendor selection process.
  • Apply industry/technical knowledge and participate in technology research, proof of concept and new product introduction to increase business results and minimize risk.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer with senior management, the team, and other technical areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management/Computer Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related field or relevant experience in the field
  • IFS Service experience or FSM Practitioner Certification preferred
  • Certification or Experience with additional IFS Application modules a plus (Supply Chain, CRM, Call Center, Planning and Scheduling Optimization)
  • Business expertise in Service Management processes as well as having strong knowledge of other business processes such as Warranty to Service, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay
  • Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required
  • Ability to engage effectively at the business and technical level, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the “big picture” as well as the details
  • Exhibit appropriate ethical knowledge, sense of urgency and commitment to quality, and the timely completion of projects
  • Ability to multi-task across many different projects and stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with client resources from hourly resources to C-suite.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of work experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale safety critical and/or mission critical systems.
  • A minimum of 6 years of work experience designing, developing, and implementing network security solutions, enterprise campus, data center, and WAN architectures.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in an enterprise, solution, network, or security architecture role.
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience architecting and optimizing hybrid cloud connectivity for applications and services

As a Project Manager at Gogh Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing professional services delivery projects. You will serve as a trusted consultant to our customers, driving the planning and execution of Statement of Works (SOWs) while maintaining and strengthening client relationships. Your expertise in project management, consulting, and client engagement will contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage professional services delivery projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
  • Act as a consultant to customers, providing guidance and expertise to help them achieve their business objectives through our services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including task schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from the plan in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams involved in project delivery, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure successful project outcomes by overseeing user training and adoption of delivered solutions.
  • Provide input and recommendations in project scoping, feasibility assessments, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and optimizing resource utilization to achieve financial targets.
  • Foster and strengthen client relationships through regular communication, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Actively participate in critical initiatives impacting change within the organization, driving project success, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience working with implementations preferably Workforce Management, Customer Relationship Management

Recommended experience and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, particularly working closely with high-touch IT customers undergoing transformation projects within enterprise companies.
  • IT project experience as a consultant implementing software.
  • Ability and fearlessness to work in an environment where the implementation processes and methodologies are flexible and adapted to the Customer and situation.
  • Strong ability to align with the customer’s vision and adjust project timelines accordingly, while maintaining core milestone and deliverable due dates.
  • Experience collaborating with Customer’s low to mid-level project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Proficiency in both waterfall and agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt and utilize the most appropriate approach for each project.
  • Self-sufficiency, autonomy, and proactive initiative to drive project success toward committed objectives.
  • Demonstrating patience and fostering a positive attitude while providing support to the technical team during the process implementation.
  • Proficiency and adaptability in working within a dynamic environment characterized by cutting-edge technology, requiring the simultaneous acquisition of IT knowledge alongside consultants.
  • Ability to establish effective ways of working between our company (Gogh) and the customer, enhancing clarity and alignment with the Statement of Work (SOW) intent.
