MONTRÉAL, QUEBEC, CANADA – JANUARY 31, 2020 – Today Gogh Solutions announced the hiring of Chris Gera, former Managing Director, EVP of Research & Insights at Service Council™, as their new President. Former President Dave Wilder will remain at Gogh in an advisory capacity, while stepping back to provide himself with more time for his family and other interests.
“Our clients at Gogh Solutions have always been the top priority. Chris having that same commitment and dedication to customer service has helped me know that the decision to step back at this time is the right one,” stated Wilder about the change. “Gogh is headed toward great things, I’m excited to continue to be a part of it all as an advisor, sharing my knowledge and experience as needed.”
Gera’s background includes multiple service related executive leadership positions, with a focus on quality service and the customer experience, as well as innovation and improvement. He’s spent over 30 years working both in and with major corporations, honing his customer first approach for client success. His extensive network and connections in North America and globally will be invaluable to Gogh as they continue to grow.
“I’ve been incredibly lucky in my career to learn the real needs of field service companies, and I’m proud to bring my experience to Gogh, knowing they have a strong commitment to helping their partners succeed,” said Gera about joining Gogh Solutions.
Aside from his most recent experience, Gera has led teams in everything from:
- Exploring and defining new service delivery models for MasTec Advanced Technologies, guiding a group dedicated to service transformation and innovation; this included leveraging MasTec’s extensive experience and capabilities to better serve their clients, such as Apple Inc., and the Sprint Corporation.
- Creating the global service organization for Vivint® Smart Home, Inc., while managing a team of 1,200+ Field Support Professionals; this team was supported 1,000,000+ customers across North American and Puerto Rico.
- Guiding global strategic initiatives, specifically digital transformation, and technology and process improvement implementations at Nielsen; a $1B profit and loss (P&L) service business supporting greater than 15,000 field professionals, in over 100 countries around the globe.
“It’s always been my approach to provide outstanding business growth, productivity, and profitability by addressing people, process, and technology,” remarked Gera, about the direction he planned to take Gogh Solutions. “There’s a power in listening to and acting on the voice of your client, it’s a core component to the way I do business, and something I’m looking forward to expanding on here at Gogh.”
