Job Title: Junior Project Manager/Scrum Master

Position Type: 8:30 am EST to 5:30 pm EST

Gogh Solutions is seeking a Junior Project Manager with Scrum Master experience to join our Professional Services team. This individual will play a key role in supporting project delivery across client initiatives—coordinating plans, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment between teams, clients, and internal stakeholders. Alongside project coordination responsibilities, you will also act as a Scrum Master for Agile teams, enabling collaboration, facilitating ceremonies, and helping teams deliver maximum value.

Role Overview

As a Junior Project Manager, you will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of client projects. You’ll help maintain schedules, track risks and dependencies, document status, and ensure smooth communication across all parties. In parallel, as a Scrum Master, you will guide Agile teams in embracing Scrum principles, facilitate key ceremonies, and remove impediments that impact delivery. This hybrid role offers exposure to both traditional project management and Agile leadership, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management (Primary)

  • Support Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
  • Maintain project schedules, track deliverables, and follow up on action items.
  • Document project updates, prepare reports, and communicate status to clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, draft minutes, and ensure accountability for next steps.
  • Track risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
  • Ensure project documentation is up to date and organized.
  • Act as a leader for Agile teams, empowering them to be engaged and self-organizing.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Partner with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized product backlog.
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments that impact delivery.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Monitor delivery metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time) and share insights to drive performance.
  • Support scaling Agile practices across multiple projects.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1–3 years’ experience in project coordination, project management, or related role.
  • Exposure to/and experience with Agile/Scrum delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules, risks, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort working with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience using project management and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar).
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a consulting environment.
  • Preferred: Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Asset: Experience in ERP, field service, or enterprise software implementations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
